The city’s La Villa Hispana and Fairfax neighborhoods receive “On The Ground” reporting from Freshwater Cleveland

Uncategorized

“On the Ground” is an embedded journalism program that focuses on the La Villa Hispana and Fairfax neighborhoods in Cleveland — uncovering the people, places, and projects that are shaping and driving these neighborhoods. Along with reported stories, content includes photo essays and multimedia, as well as a live event.

Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, along with its LiveCleveland! campaign, is proud to be a partner in this effort. The On the Ground initiative is also made possible by partnerships with Dollar Bank, Hispanic Business Center, Northeast Ohio Economic Development, Esperanza Inc, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Cleveland Clinic/The Adcom Group, Inc., FreshWater, Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation and the PNC Fairfax Connection.

Freshwater Cleveland launched this effort in Cleveland in 2018 with coverage of Old Brooklyn. Many of those articles can be found here.

See the stories on La Villa Hispana here.
