schools

The city of Cleveland is home to a growing and diverse portfolio of quality education options. The Cleveland Plan for Transforming Schools has become the guiding document to improve the quality of education in the city. The plan, adopted by CMSD and ratified into law through H.B. 525 in 2012, aims to ensure that every child in Cleveland attends a high-quality school and that every neighborhood has a multitude of great schools from which families can choose. Currently, parents and families in Cleveland have over 40 schools to choose from that rate at one of the three highest levels of achievement.
