November 2017 Realtor Spotlight: Wendy Poltorek
CPD Homes
So many great historic properties are getting renovated and updated in Cleveland. Since
its inception, CPD Homes has established themselves as a great source for these beautifully renovated homes throughout the greater Cleveland area. As a founding partner at CPD Homes and real estate agent with Keller Williams, Wendy Poltorek is a wonderful resource to find your next home.
Born in Brecksville, but spending much of her life in Downtown Cleveland, Wendy moved to Florida for a short time only to return to her home city and launch her thriving business and career in real estate. Simultaneous to launching CPD, Wendy moved from a smaller boutique brokerage to Keller Williams – Greater Cleveland. Wendy loves her work and couldn’t be happier now that she has found a career she is passionate about. Wendy loves finding her clients the perfect place and watching their excitement as their home nears completion where they can begin the next chapter of their journey in a newly renovated home. Wendy and her partner David Dickson believe in “keeping it local” which they define as supporting one another’s entrepreneurial endeavors in the community, helping others grow and thus improve their community together. CPD Homes specializes in marketing and locating debilitated homes to rehabilitate and re-sell.
“David and I hold true to our ethical and moral expectations for ourselves, our business, and our team members”
CPD prides itself on being honest and helpful. They want to find you the right fit for your life and give back to their community rather than follow some of the history of negative setbacks within the real estate business. Their slogan “Community. Pride. Development” embodies just that. The arrangement of these terms is significant in that they put their community and the pride they feel for their city first, before any developing activities or profitable actions.
Wendy believes Cleveland is a wonderful place to live and that our former reputation of a “mistake by the lake” has been overcome and replaced by more accurate labels like “city of champions” or “comeback city”. The pride we all feel in our city has led to a rise in the quality of life here as well as the national perception of the city. She believes that the availability of charter schools, our world-class health care, overall affordability, and exploding tech industry have us primed to continue our ascension and she couldn’t be more excited to contribute to our city’s comeback.
