The Day of Assumption is widely known in the Catholic community as the day that the Virgin Mary passed away and is commemorated with various services and festivities. One such occasion is Cleveland’s Feast of the Assumption, which is held every year in the Little Italy region of the city. The event is celebrated over the course of four days, street festival style, and features both secular and religious activities. Guests can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, listen to live music performances, peruse the various arts and crafts booths and watch a spectacular fireworks show.
