About this Event
What: Join the U.S. Census Bureau, some of your child’s favorite characters, and other partners to celebrate the importance of counting young children in the 2020 Census at the Great Lakes Science Center. Head to the Census Bureau check-in desk and enjoy a free family festival, kids activities, and live entertainment.
When: Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Great Lakes Science Center, 601 Erieside Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44114
Arrive at the Science Center between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. For free admission, make sure you check in at the Census Bureau desk located near the entrance.
Why: Did you know that children under 5 are among the most-likely groups to be missed in a census count? Cleveland needs all of its children to be counted in the 2020 Census because census statistics inform funding for critical public services such as schools, child care, housing, and food assistance. Parking: Parking is available on-site for $5 per vehicle.
