Play on car free streets.
CiCLEvia (see-CLE-vee-uh) is an open streets movement. Segments of Cleveland streets are temporarily closed to cars and opened for people-powered movement such as biking, walking, dancing, and so much more.
The name ciCLEvia is derived from the ciclovias of Latin American cities such as Bogota, Colombia, where over 70 miles of streets are open to people every Sunday and holiday.
Four CiCLEvia events will take place in Cleveland this summer:
June 4 in Clark Fulton/Tremont
July 16 in Central/Campus District
Aug 20 in Detroit Shoreway/Ohio City
Sept 17 – in Glenville/University Circle
