The Detroit Shoreway neighborhood is making news for new restaurants, arts and culture and large scale housing developments. Recently, however, it was the news of a tiny house that started people talking. Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization and Citizens Bank have partnered to introduce the tiny house concept in the Eco Village section of the neighborhood. The proposed home – which will soon be built – is slated to be only 557 square feet. It will be efficient and affordable.
